For chef Sam Talbot, it’s southern food. It’s the comfort of the best buttermilk biscuits and parmesan-laden cornbread you can think of. The crunch you hear when you taste juicy, perfectly seasoned fried chicken. It’s the richness of mac & cheese and the tartness of fried green tomatoes that leave you wanting more. It’s what makes you leave room for the banana pudding. (Leave room. Trust us.)

They’re classics — and Sam’s bringing them to you at Pretty Southern with a modern twist. Think local, organic, and sustainably sourced.

Think delicious. Think options: vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free. We embrace it all.

After the last bite, we compost and recycle. We also host monthly neighborhood cleanups, and we take care of our neighbors. Ask us about Made on Mondays, our community cooking class for kids.

Pretty Southern redefines hospitality. We give you what you know and love in a way you’ve never seen before.

We’re open Tuesday through Sunday for breakfast, lunch, and dinner — dine in, take out, delivery, or catering. We welcome walk-ins and take reservations for parties of 6 or more.

  • We are VERY VEGAN FRIENDLY. More than 75 percent of our menu is Vegan.
  • All of our oil is turned into bio diesel clean fuel.
  • We are as organic as we possibly can be. We use local, sustainable farms for our proteins.
